Amazing. During 30 years of marriage, I wondered what was wrong with me. Well, it turns out all that cramping and jerking and involuntary movements that further disrupted my sleep were, in fact, caused by a disorder, but RLS weren't her initials!

I'm looking to switch to prime and was wanting to know if I become a company driver/trainer, what the ballpark gross weekly income I can make. I'm a trainer now and have been on and off for 6 years.
-
Trainers are paid the team rate minus the .12 or .10 per mile paid to the trainee. Dispatched miles to the truck loaded and empty.
25% of the fuel bonus goes to the trainee. 50% of the stop pay goes to the trainee.
.10 or .12 depends on the experiance (seat level) of the trainee.
Trainees on the truck for the entire 7 days of a pay period are garaunteed $500 or $600 depending on their level. Company trainer is not required to make up the difference between any miles under 5k and the gaurantee.
(5k miles x .10/.12 = $500/$600)
Im not sure what Company instructors get. -
As an Instructor I get all the miles at my rate. Plus $300 a week for student being on. Testing is where I make My money..
If student passes
Written
Drive
Pretrip
I believe it is $500
2nd time $300
3rd time $150
after student goes solo A seat. $250 bonus
After 1 year student at prime $250
Don't quote me on it but i believe with a trifecta "passes all first time"
its a total payout over 1 year of $3250 each -
