No they should not be and he should not agree to pay for them. 2 boxes is nothing. It happens. A driver is not responsible unless the case is negligence , and even then it would be debatable.

Put an app in with Prime yesterday. Word on the street is they wont hire you if you were terminated from last job. Even tho my last job wasn't a driving job. Any truth to this? I haven't heard back yet from the recruiter i spoke with yesterday.

That would be true... they don't want to take a chance on putting out the money to bring a person in with a bad track record.

I honestly can't say. After a week start calling - best advice is to camp on hold until you get a person. When they're slammed in recruiting, answering voice mail gets way down on the priority list.

I understand not wanting to take on folks who dont like to work and piss on every opportunity ever given to them. However i dont have a bad work history. Very stable. I wasnt being paid a correct wage with my previous employer for over a year. I went to talk to the boss about it, after we were done and i was leaving the office i was told to not return to work that i am now unemployed. I worked in EMS for 10 years. 9 years with the company before last.

Make sure the recruiters know the conditions that you were terminated under. That may make a difference.

Was finally able to get in touch with the recruiter yesterday. I told her about the rest of my work history. She understood, but was unable to accept me considering that I was terminated regardless of the reason. She told me to work full time for at least 8 months and then re-apply.

Doesn't matter to me what I drive- as long as i get paid. I do not have a CDL or the money up front to pay the ridiculous cost for the training. I am looking to get on with a company paid CDL program. I have a final confirmation call on Tuesday with Driver Solutions...Scheduled to start the 18th. Supposed to be sponsored by USA Truck. I looked at Prime and thought they seemed like a better route that DS.
