I use Millenicom and have been happy with it. I bought the air card and get 10G a month on Veizon's network for 59.99. Downloaded Verizon's access manager for free as it has more options than the one Milleincom sends out on the Disk. Heard they use to offer a different aircard for use on the Sprint network, but not sure if that's still true. Wouldn't want Sprint out here anyhoo!

It is very rare that I get no signal. Maybe twice, thrice in two years? A lot more dead spots on my ATT phone, but I live with that for the plan I have. Do get lo strength signals at times and you won't be streaming any watchable video at those times.

I'm happy with it and would recommend it as a viable alternative.

Best of luck to you. Just remember this: "Good" weather in SLC probably differs from "good" weather in LA!

    $$$$!!!!

Detention - if the contract calls for it! Nothin' like being paid to sleep! :biggrin_25525:

You can unload your own trailer if you like, but Prime pays a rate that discourages it. You're best off getting in a break that can be used as part of a split or a full one. Whether you sleep or not is up to you, but if you are going to be driving after a long period at a shipper or receiver, its best that you try to get some rest.

Adjusting your sleeping habits to the necessities of OTR is just one of the hurdles you will face. Its not your "normal" day-shift lifestyle.
