these are the ones with no up front cost to you...... Swift, Stevens Transport, Central, and driver solutions...... There is alot more of companies that will sign you on but you have to obtain your cdl through an credible school . Prime is also one of those schools with no up front cost but that for now has been scratched. Do your research on all of them . I for one have heard of problems with all of these but you never really know what happened unless you know someone who has been through it.
Huh??? Where do you get this stuff? From the website... NO COST TO YOU IF YOU STAY 1 YEAR. $1750 if you stay 6 months. Maximum note - $3500 - No Interest!
i was told yesterday that there is a $100 administration fee and $50 permit fee, which still seems very reasonable for so much training that is involved.
i sincerely hope that you do not have to pay anything to get an cdl by any company but i know there is companies as petty as england that wants an 200 dollar holding fee for its course...... sounds ridiculous to me..... I can on the other hand see paying for permit and cdl fees at the motor vehicle office
Are you saying that the company should give the training for free and then the student is free to go elsewhere with no commitment to the company that just gave them the training? Please clarify!
He's sayin' it's scratched because kcmofire's application was declined from Prime, not that Prime no longer offers the CDL training.
pay attention to detail much ??????? I was talking about up front costs....... money down....... It should never cost anyone a dime to go to class if it is company sponsored.... Once you graduate and start working costs should be paid by the driver in incraments over time..... but to go to school and to get to the facilities it should be paid for by said company !!!!! GET IT?
This is correct. I went and got my permit before I arrived at orientation and it cost me $32. I would advise you to do the same. It only saved me $18, but the value of not having to worry about taking the test at orientation is huge. If you already have your permit, you can work on the simulator (among other things) while the others are studying and taking their tests.
