I am considering Prime CDL school and as I was reading on the company website, I noticed that you have to become a lease operator after schooling? Is this right, or am I misunderstanding the language on the web page? I don't want to be a lease op, just a company driver. In a year or so, my wife will be getting her CDL so that we can become team drivers. I am going to school first, so that when she comes onboard, I can train her.
If I have to become a lease op, I guess I will scratch prime off of my list. Any info is appreciated! -
No one is required to be a lease operator. You can run on the company side for as long as you like.
da1 Thanks this. -

Improvise and adapt Marine... pull the passenger seat, have the detail shop mount the fridge there. A lot of folks bungee a microwave on top of that. Most of the lightweights have enough headroom to stand up in (unless you're Michael Jordan-sized,) but storage needs some creativity.
We have a drop yard and dispatch office in Denver at W 64th Ave and N. Pecos - across from the Navajo terminal.rockabilly2272 Thanks this.
