He will get paid from the day he actually got his Prime I'd, because he was available for dispatch. And yes he should get paid this Friday, but like IP said it will be prorated, so don't expect anything big, maybe 150-200 bucks.

Do any Prime customers require us to have steel toe boots? I have seen on other threads that these are necessary for some.
-
The flatbed types have mentioned it, and I'd also bet that its required (or strongly recommended) for tanker yankers. I can't think of any shippers or receivers on the reefer side who do, but its possible to run across one who does.
rbgman7 Thanks this. -
JCW has also run into some places that require a hard hat. Now, if you don't have one, they sometimes provide you one. But do you REALLY want to wear a hat that has been on someone else's head? I got him one from Amazon for less than $10. Safety vest too. He has his steel toes onboard (but I think his are more ST sneakers than boots.)
rbgman7 Thanks this. -

Lowes has hardhats for $14. Nice ones. White or Yellow........

Like I said, I paid less than $10 for JCW's. And no shipping (I can ALWAYS get an order up to $25)

Flatheaders don't need no stinkin' hard hat. The head serves that purpose!!
silenteagle and skellr Thank this. -
^^^speaking of hard heads...^^^ lol
Several places on the flatbed side require steel toed boots. A lot wont allow you in with shorts, some require long sleeve shirts. Hard hats are a biggie, along with a vest. And dont forget safety glasses...da1 Thanks this. -
What fuel economy does the company expect from you? What are the rules on idling? What are the trucks governed at really?
