I know. But a lot of people cant use the search function properly. You being on here a year tho, I can understand how constantly repeating that will wear ya down. FYI new guys like me... Once you search the forum, you can then search the entire thread by using the "search thread" opinion on the grey bay and find pretty much any info you could thing of.

 

Most don't use it at all. And then some hero comes along and spouts of incorrect info. The info I have (I still have friends that are trainers and drivers at Prime) is correct as of yesterday. I keep up, cuz I try to be a helpful soul. (Side note, I saw JCW 15 days ago, get to see him tomorrow for lunch, then he's home Sunday/Monday for CityGirl's 18th birthday.)

 

Do you have to have a passport? anyone know?

 

You are supposed to have/get a passport (the card thing works) AND a TWIC card. Prime will front the money for both, and take it out of your check over a period of weeks. I know some drivers have neither.

 

Thx, i cannot get a passport because of Child Support but i will ask my recruiter tomorrow.

 

My recruiter ask me specifically about child support. It was my understanding if you owe back child support and can't get a passport you are ineligable to work for Prime.

They CAN use it, they just dont. It does get old after a year lol

 

Does Prime have trucks or tankers working in the oil fields in Texas or ND?

 

no our tankers are food grade....unless theres something i dont know but last time i checked no oil field work

 

Ok. One more question: How long is the commitment if you go with them to get your CDL? If you bail early, then how much will they charge you for the school?
