    its a one yr commitment for the cdl program cant remember the exact amount but if you leave before 6months its full price(3k+ maybe) after 6months $1600+ numbers arent exact but i believe im in the ball park

    I'm considering it but only if I can drive tankers. My goal is to work in the oil fields and drive the tankers, so I want the experience.

    well you can get some experience here and from there do whats best not sure how hard it is to get into the tanker div here....training included

    Tanker is mainly NE, but Ive spoken with one that said they are a 48 state division. Just not as many runs.

    $3500 or 12 months. It's $1750 if you make it 6 months.

    I just applied online. So I take it that they check your credit since I had to input my s/s number in the app?

    I don't think there is a credit check. That's for a background check. Newbies get lightweights. There's a thread on prime lightweights.

    It's a job application. When have you NOT provided a SSAN on a job app?? It's used to check your background... Hire Right uses it to gain access to your DAC report - same process as a credit check, and it's used to access your PSP report at the FMCSA.

    Tanker guys get a larger truck - usually a mid-roof with a full length condo, although I think I've seen the full condo as well. More equipment. LW's are company reefer division.
