+ Well that depends. If you don't fill out your W-4 correctly for your tax situation, you may end up owing. If you do fill it out, you may have a refund, or owe nothing. Everyone's tax situation is different. Prime will only pull from your check the taxes that correspond to the deductions vs. income level their software tells them. If you say you have 8 deductions, and only have 2, well, come April 15, you aren't going to be happy sending Uncle Sam a pretty large chunk of change. ETA: "deduction" may not be the actual word I'm looking for here.
I don't know if any of you posters seen my question or not, but i will ask again. Do prime check your driving record past the 3 yrs. They say on their website? Like they check your background as far as 20 or more years if you have any thing on your record back that far, which i do. But the reason i ask cause i do have 2 accidents say within the last 5 yrs. if prime decide to check farther than 3.
They certainly go back 5 years, but you need to be upfront with your entire driving history. If they catch you in a deliberate mistatement or omission, you'll be on a bus outta there in a hurry. Whether your accidents cause you problems will depend a lot on the circumstances.
Be upfront and list everything. If you don't and they see it, they may think you are trying to cover something up. Just my 2 cents worth.
Thanks for clearing that up. Even tho there website says 3 years on driving record, they go back 5yrs. I wanted to make sure so they can't say i lied on my application. I already told one of the recruiters on the phone about my background and he was not sure, they will have to do an investigation first before they give me a definite answer of approved or not. DTB, i would not expect for someone to answer a question they do not know the answer to. Thanks IP. and to highway, i read enough about prime to know not to hold anything back. i thought they only go back 3yrs., but ironpony set me straight.
Well, I just wanted you to know I wasn't ignoring your question! Most company's websites are notoriously out of date.
I see. With all the money they make it seems like they should be able to keep it updated.people go to the website to get current info and it is not current info.
Most large companies hire out their web development. It's not high on the priority list as someone w/ a small business who depends on the website to shuttle business their way. Those on-line retailers have entire departments dedicated to their website oversight.
