I never did either, but I also had an agreement with D-man on how far I could go without authorization. Otherwise I let him know what route I was running. It's like this: If you company guys screw up off route and your FM doesn't know about it, it's your ### AND his. The company will hold it against you. And no, they won't do anything about it if nothing happens, and you don't miss an appointment. That was how things worked a few years ago.

Give Lacy a call if you don't believe me.

I dont go far. Might get off a different exit. Never go very off out of route. But some of the routings are totally ridiculous and add a lot of miles that are wasted, and that Im not being paid for. If the load is tight Ill follow the routing to the letter. That way they cant say a thing bout how I went.

Then you need to change your "Trucker?" status line from Student, yes?

    Self Intro
Hi all I have been reading various forums for the last couple of days. I am deployed with the Army right now and I have less than a year to go before they put me out with 17 years under my belt. I have been researching companies and ran into this forum. If someone could give me a no B/S asessment of the three companies that offer CDL schools. Prime Inc., Pam and Swift. It would seem from what I have read that Prime is the best one to go with. I have no interest in leasing but want to be a company driver. I live in Tennessee if anyone has anything on hometime in that area. Thanks.

    Hardwork Thanks this.
