I can tell you that there are no exceptions. I've been pushing for one since I was accepted on the wait list on 9/15. Five months later, and my recruiter STILL has no idea when I might get called to SPRIMO.

Didn't they get sued over this though? The policy just makes no sense. A male can harass a male and a female can harass a female. You never know in this day and time. I guess I'll just have to go with another company.

I'd like to thank everyone who contributes on here. This site has been incredibly informative. Now I have a few questions before I get going to Prime on Monday.
1. Should I be okay bringing my laptop with me during orientation? I figure that I may not get home for some time and would like to have access to my bills and bank account. At the same point, I don't want it to get stolen and leave me out of luck. Thoughts?
Actually, I only had one question. Feel free to give other answers and I'll just guess what the question was.
You guys and gals have been great about filling in all the rest of the blanks and all us newbies can't thank you enough for your help. -

Hey,what kind of truck starts with the number 3 for the truck number?
-
It shouldn't be a problem. Only your roommate and the housekeeping staff have access to your room. The housekeeping folks are long-term employees, and wouldn't risk their jobs for it. Just put it in a drawer underneath some clothes, and you should be okay.
As Highway said, you will need internet access. WiFi hotspots at truckstops are expensive, vary in quality greatly, and plan on loosing signal every time a truck moves between you and the antenna on the building. Coverage is the number one thing, and Verizon is probably the best.
brink and cableguy9508 Thank this. -
We have a 10-western state company division based out of Salt Lake. It would have you in that part of the world very nearly exclusively. Home time is not based around the location of terminals. You let your FM know (with a little notice) when you want to be home, and they set the system to find you a load. You deliver, drop the trailer at an agreed-upon location, and bobtail home. Reverse the process on the way out.[/QUOTE]
Huh, info please re; co division out of SLC. New to Prime from other large carrier out of SLC.
Realize loads pay better in NE, but prefer running NW..
thanks for info! -

The terminal is CHD in Salt lake. Keep in mind while it is in Salt lake, you will run all 48 states alot of the time, your not exclessive to the NW. I live in Nevada, am dispatched from Springfield and run all 48, but spend about 30% of my time in the west and very little in OR or WA.marlowhy Thanks this.
