You apply for the TWIC card when you enter the TnT phase. You do pay for it, through payroll deduction.

Then never ever be a mechanic. You buy your own tools. And your own tool box. And the cost is ..... high. At the time my husband quit wrenching, he had a $5k box and $30,000 of tools. And yes, that was working for (several different) companies. Prime will buy chains back if they are still new in the unopened bag. It's a way to make sure that the driver's aren't off selling Prime's property.

You may be a paragon of virtue, but obviously, Prime has had a different experience. Why does McD's coffee have a "contents are hot" warning on it? Because some stupid idiot chose to put her HOT coffee between her legs after purchasing it in the drivethru. She won millions of dollars in that settlement.

At $400/set, and (at a guess) 1500 company drivers, it ain't cheep to keep replacing "lost" chains.

Can you change the recruiter that was assigned to you when you applied by wed site..
I had tried to call today to talk to some one else and was told that I had to talk to who was assigned..
Just did not trust what was being told to after more research and found what I was looking for..
I wanted prime but not sure now as they don't seem to want to put in the division I would like to have.
    Any ideas out there..
    Thank You

It is your decision as to what you want to drive. Just ask for a new recruiter. If they talk you around in circles, ask to speak to John Hancock.

Prime has tanker can also solo, crst has vans an team driving, may be six months down the road for solo even then may not happen.
Prime says on road training 4 to 6 months about 40,000 miles That's a very long training time.
Because of recruiter at prime may not go there. Can any one tell the truth about these schools..
Just want to be happy when I go, knowing I made the best choice..
