I spoke to a recruiter with Prime and I asked him how much do you pay a new solo company otr driver right out of school and he told me $.41 per mile. Is this true. I thought he was pulling my chain?

 

Its true. .36 plus .05 for driving a Lightweight truck. Since every newb pretty much gets a lightweight, that makes it .41

plus there is a fuel bonus up to .05, and another .05 if you live in the NE and join the NE fleet.

I live in Massachusetts. So your telling me between fuel and my location i'll make .51 cents per mile? If so i'm so in!!!! LOL!!!! Is the .5 for fuel only for lease owner or owner operators? I'm looking to be a company driver. Or am I gonna make .46 because I don't need the fuel money because i'm a company driver?
