2400-2800 seems average. One guy is reporting as much as 3200 regularily. It depends on the area of the country you're running in, and who your FM is.

Howdy all! I am looking into becoming a Primate. My first question is how similar is Nevadas CDL manual to Missouris?
If accepted, I want to get a jump on studying... Is the info the same, or are there differences??

Get your permit here in NV, then once you get your license in MO, just transfer it over to NV, Was no big deal when I did it, just went into DMV and swapped licenses, had to pay a few of course, but everyone has to get some money lol.

    MR.HAPPY Thanks this.

    MR. HAPPY ; I am oldB52
If you go to www.aitionline.com, This is a great site for CDL Class A sample test..
Scroll down the page , you will find a list of states to test from.
Most states are very close because it's all Federal.
I believe this site would be a good one for anyone, I used it. And it was a great way to test what you have studied. You may have to take a number of test to cover the section in your manual that you study.
Go online and look up CDL Class A Practice Test for ( What Ever State Your In ).
Do It you will be happy with it..

Thanks OB52, you are correct sir. After lookin over that web site you referred me too, and several others, everything looks pretty much the same. Gotta love the Feds and their constancy eh? (then again, maybe not...)
And now a follow up question: If I get my permit in Nevada, do I need to also get a permit in Mo? OR can I test out with a Mo. cdl with a Nevada permit??? I have read threads here that talk about this, but I have read soooo many threads and when I come up with a question, I have forgotten where is was that I saw the answer.

Also, I would like to thank you all for takin the time to answer the questions from the new guys trying to enter your world. I have been crawling around this forum like a spider monkey on a ferris wheel for quite a while now and am impressed with the help that is offered.

I read some of your other posts, albeit a bit too late... HWY 101 copy that "get your permit in your own state (and 3x yer out at prime)", will a Nevada permit work in Springfield? Then on to a Mo. CDL? Then transfer CDL back to Nv?

Think I'm cornfussed now?? Wait till I start askin questions about that #### HOS...

Good luck OB52 on your come back! I decided to go with Prime because of the attitudes of the drivers on this forum.

Yup... get your CDL permit in NV. It takes the stress off of that first week in orientation, when those who didn't are freaking out over the tests. At the end of PSD you'll test with a Missouri CDL examiner, and you'll receive a MO CDL. During TnT, they'll get you a load that goes back to NV so you can transfer the license. Most states only require proof of your NV address to do this. Do not bother getting a hazmat endorsement until then, because that's the one part of the CDL that will not transfer without retaking the test.

    Highway101 and MR.HAPPY Thank this.
