That's the number one thing they're looking for. Any hint of untruthfulness anywhere in the hiring process on your part will scotch the entire deal. Even if there is something outside of the hiring parameters... say a ticket for something years ago- admit it to the recruiters up front. That information coming from you establishes your commitment to being truthful, and ensures it will be a non-issue.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,

Was wondering about something and have heard some answers, but maybe y'all can tell me how good Prime is at getting their drivers home for Christmas. Now I know I should not expect that as a new company driver, but I have read some post where trucking companies go out of their way to get truckers near home at Christmas time. So thanks in advance for your answers.

They always gave us our choice of one of the three... Turkey Day, Xmas or New Years. I always got two, and arrived on time.

Thanks for the answers. I Would not care so much about Thanksgiving or New Years, but would not mind being home for Christmas.

One thing I was wondering about Prime is even though you get an extra .05 for choosing a lightweight truck. Being hired on to them out of their training class can you choose a regular sleeper for only the .36cpm if you wanted? I'll probably going with the lightweight truck as it's extra income and will only be me but I was just curious if you could choose a regular sleeper?

Depends on tractor a availability, meaning some folks do get into full size units. It's not a "choice," it's a truck assignment.
