At the training center there is parking but they could (later would have to) park in primes longterm at the terminal.

I parked at the millennium building during psd. Just have to get a form from security and a sticker for your car.

BTW... do get your tanker and start the process for your hazmat endorsement. There is a lot of hazmat freight opening up that sales wants to go after. We don't pull anything particularly nasty. So you can sit and fume about no loads or cash in.

Had a very positive call with a recruiter today after putting my app in. Just need my former doctor to send them what amounts to a work release and my self employment affidavit and I should be in!

I have my CDL, but will be going through the refresher course. I want to get my hazmat, twic and tanker endorsement, is that something that can be started before I'm on a truck with a trainer or after? In the long term I will buy my own truck and do hazmat tanker work.

Once I get my CDL I'll likely get all the endorsements. I'll take the money, let the idiots whine about how their victims of the evil corporate overlords.

Plus, with hazmat and some tanker experience I might be able to find a local tanker job. Sounds good to me.

edit - I'm going flatbed though, so I probably won't see that much hazmat.

    Another question..

If you get through orientation and can't get a trainer right away, what do they have you do? I assume they wouldn't want you just hanging out in the hotel until one becomes available.

Actually that's exactly what you do. Prime will continue to house and feed you until one becomes available. In the meantime, they will have you out on the practice pad practicing pretrip or taking classes.
