It was an example. But for flatbed it's not that simple. You have to secure every load and tarp if needed that takes time. So it should be showing just as if you are on the dock. The load we got today we had to redo all the straps that were on it because they were wrong.
Im not saying log every min of your time. Doing it that way will kill your 70 fast but don't put 5-10 min if your flatbed or all of the DOT guys I know will call you out on it. But this guy was deleting loading times and others off of my logs. That in itself is illegal.
The guy that is training me now is great. He's an O/O and has been doing this for a long while. It's sad that I have learned more today alone then the whole week on the other truck. I'm not training long (only 2 more out of 3 weeks) so I need actual training not "well go over that later sometime" every time I ask about things like working load limits, how to use the Qualcomm, and other stuff I need to know.

Quick question: what day of the week do lease classes start?
-
Tuesdays IIRC... your FM would know that.
BigRigEvan Thanks this. -

How much does a student have to pay back if they don't complete a full year with prime?
if it was already answered- my apologies -
Quick question for the lease side of things. If I was to come on board as a lease operator and living in the northeast am I locked into the northeast like the company guys or is it different? Congratulations IP on your win. Can't stand cry baby brady or any boston area team.

Couple of questions:
1. Recruiter says they don't have "access" to the employment contract (newbie getting all training from Prime). So who would?
2. Coming from Colorado, aiming for Flatbeds, when would could I expect first home time during TNT? -

I've been on the company side for about a year, I've been thinking about taking the leap into leasing, perhaps this spring or early summer once we get some better weather and rid of the winter blend fuel..
One thing I was wondering though, I'm pretty happy with the LW I have, it's great MPG wise. Would I have to lease an entirely different truck or do they allow someone who wants to lease remained assigned to the same truck if they wish, making it a lease truck? -
No, you can run really anywhere you want, although NE can pay quite well... shorter runs means lower fuel expense. You want your orientation through Springfield MO and dispatched from there as well. Don't accept Pittston PA.
So Tell the recruiter I want Springfield and not Pittston? Is that even a possibility? The orientation in Pittston in way closer lol.
