I have seen a ton of drivers run over, and bounce off of, curbs out in the real world. If thats an issue for driving I would say an easy 50% can turn in thier cdl right now, and find another job.

 

Gently coming over a curb and bouncing over one are VERY different, Bouncing over anything damages your truck trailer and freight. Since you are listed as a wanna be, I assume you do not have your license yet, Remember when you test, curbing is a no no curb = autofail

 

Even worse was that he was suppose to go out with a trainer for his 40k miles. It didn't make sense at all to me.

 

Lol, I'll hit a curb every once and awhile, you just can't avoid it all the time in the real world.

 

Yes, I do not have a license. It's an observation, from an ex traffic cop.

 

I don't think they should disqualify them for that,
Maybe there was another issue that the driver didn't tell everyone because of embarassment, like maybe he hit EVERY curb, or ran a light etc. etc. We will never know unless we ride with them on the check ride.
We usually only get the one side because the tester won't talk.

Very true. Oh well. But then again Prime isn't going to hire just anyone either. They are looking for a certain kind of driver as well or someone they can mold into there ideal driver.

 

I am not. I applied, and becasue I have a gap in employment they refused me. Oh well, just choose another option, adn keep on trekking-possibly with a better place.
