Understand the recruiter being overwhelmed with work, however don't understand setting an appointment with me and then not showing or following up. Not sure how it is in the trucking world, but where I am from it is unprofessional and just plain rude. I have plenty of patience, however not so much money.![]()

Amen on the money issue boss. Agree that setting an appointment and missing is bad form too. Just trying to keep things positive.

Yeah I expect things to turn out for the best, and Prime is still my first choice, especially since Knight my other first choice won't school residents of NJ. Looking at Millis and Stevens as well, but think that Prime is the most attractive option for students. Another stress I have is I just received a job offer that I will have to refuse if I go away to trucking school, but don't want to turn down a job only to learn I will not be going away to school.
CuriousG Thanks this. -
That's a tough situation, I wish you the best. Who knows we may end up in Springfield at the same time.

I'm a new prime driver, I have been with them about 3 months, I'm trying to find out how to become a trainer. I was a trainer prior to going to work for prime. But I only want to train a friend of mine that is coming to work for prime.

Quick update, talked to Prime recruiter, he was having trouble contacting a former employer. Talked to employer, he didn't recognize the # and thought it was spam. Hopefully my application will be approved soon!

How do you get stuff like coolant, fuel additive, or whatever? Do you just hit "yes" at the fuel pump when it asks if you want to buy stuff inside?
oh yeah, anyone use their APU's heater? I've got a rigmaster and theres an option for it on the control panel, but it just blows out cool air. My bunk heater works fine, but if something thermostat-controlled would be nice.Last edited: Nov 12, 2014

Ye's just select to get additional things inside. And the apu's don't have heat on the controls just the bunk heater unfortunately.
n3ss Thanks this.
