Um, skip that and call the main number now. You've been trying to long to get a hold of your recruiter. It's Friday, it's time to talk to someone else.

I agree with the above. If it's going straight to voicemail then call the main number and explain the situation. They may be on vacation or sick or something.

As luck would have it......... I sent an email and left a voicemail and in a matter of a minute, I got a return call!!!!! All is good, he emailed me the orientation package and I quickly (yet thoroughly) read it, signed it, and returned it. Thanks again guys!!!! I hope I wasn't sounding like a drama queen, but I felt the lack of communication is really unprofessional. How many good candidates has this happened to and they had given up? A recruiter is essentially the first impression of a company, and as the saying goes...... You only get one chance at a first impression.

The recruiters are slammed, and you can do much, much worse in the communication department with other carriers... at least from the chatter we see in the other forums. Good luck, and remember, there are plenty of hungry folks out there that want the kind of money a paycheck at Prime will bring them.

Anything south of I4 might be questionable, better check with a recruiter.

I was a company driver for a full year flatbed clearing over 50k before I went lease. Take the time to know Prime, your truck and your job. TNT and A seat are not the same thing. you don't know what your trainer didn't teach you.

Ironpony is absolutely correct. This past week's class was unusually huge. The recruiters were tasked with doing many things to assist the orientation folks. When IP says they were all slammed, he isn't exaggerating. After this week, I assume there will be a slight backlog for callbacks. You may keep calling, if you wish; just please be patient. Everyone in those offices deserve an extra week of vacation for what they just went through (maybe IP can make that happen LOL). WE may have been stressed, but they were even more so. Yet, they did a great job all around.

When you get here and count YOUR class size, multiply that number ay 3 (maybe even 4, if one includes the rehires and those coming over with an active CDL). They still had to have EVERYONE processed, one way or another, in the same time-frame as normal-sized classes. Then you might begin to understand exactly what they just went through.

I am not meaning to sound like a jerk here, just so you know.

Last I knew we did, but you had to lease. No company drivers from there.
