Not getting along with the trainer and not like the way this company operates, after an argument over my drive time I asked to be let off the truck half way to a delivery. Is this considered abandoning the truck if the trainer is still able to deliver on time
Asked to get off truck after 2 weeks training, is it abandonment?

Question; Before you made this decision, and action, did you talk to anyone at corporate office about the situation?
tscottme, gentleroger, Oxbow and 4 others Thank this. -

Tell the company the trainer kicked you off the truck.
`
Well, could be abandonment if you were on a team run. -

Well he’s still delivering the load tomorrow night. We’re only 200 miles from the drop off and the dispatcher just told him they couldn’t do anything about the situation tonight, they’d have to wait till morning to probably get me a bus ticket or something …just don’t see how it’s abandonment if it’s his truck and he’s still taking the delivery just by himself now

Probably not abandonment then.
