Recently, I've moved from otr to local and I have been asking a lot of stupid common sense questions that I simply just need to ask. Once I ask, the answers are typically obvious but in my mind, that's just not how I things when I was otr.

Have any of you experienced drivers now local drivers ever dealt with this problem?

Driver this is NOT a problem. What IS a problem though is when a driver thinks he knows more than he really does. He doesn't bother asking questions, and likely will resent any advice offered. Then wonders how he got in over his head and screwed something up big time!
If you don't know something, ask your questions. Most experienced drivers will do their best to answer you. You will occasionally run into the arrogant driver that tries to build himself up in his own mind, by putting you down. When you run into this, just realise that the problem is his, not yours.
Of course you've been around long enough to know this, I was just reminding you. And you've been around this forum long enough to know that you can ask for information here.
Are you local LTL FAK, or are you speciality driving?

As @Big Don mentioned, worry not about any of that. Feel free to ask away.

Yes. Just ask the questions as you want answers here or in real life. You may feel you look stupid asking the question, you will feel much more stupid doing the wrong thing if you had asked the question. Ask, ask, ask.
