I have had problems with that artificial sweetener too. I don't buy anything that has it.
-
Yea, I won't buy anything that has it anymore. I THOUGHT Splenda was safe since it IS made from sugar in the first place, but come to find out MANY health reports say it is NOT...far from it. So, now I don't use any of that artificial stuff. You can read all about Artificial Sweeteners and see for yourself.
-
I'll stick with the real thing! I need to keep my sweet disposition anyway!
-
LOL, yea, me too. I drink enough beer to stay sweeter than molasses!
-
WOW! and I love Splenda.
I don't like to eat alot of sugar. I get enough of that in my chocolate.

Aspartame is made substituting chlorine atoms for carbon. It breaks down into formaldehyde & othet nasty stuff. Inside the body & outside in heat There is lots of literature out about it. It is legal population control by poisoning. It also makes you fat! Dick Cheney & his cronies at the FDA are responsible for it being legalized. Dick was the CEO of the manufacturer. There is lots of info about it's dangerous effects. Flouridation of water is another solution first introduced by the NAZIs to control inmate populations. The FDA pushes this too. Research these things, it is only your health & life. Look up Aspatame Sweet Poison for example.
Baack Thanks this. -
Dick Cheney. Now I know why it's bad. He'll do anything for buck.
-
FDA has declared it safe, and everyone that supports it cites that declaration. I avoid it, it really messes up my concentration and reaction time.
Splenda has some effect but not the same, just that too much of that, and I can't get rid of the taste.
Saccharin is just not very good tasting to me at all.
There are two that I have tried, the recent one is stevia, a natural extract of a herb, and sodium cyclamate, which was banned in this country 39 years ago, but has approval in much of the world. There has been a movement to re approve it here, but so far it isn't going anywhere.
Stevia is an example of something that is not artificial being questionable. I have tried it, it has a slight resemblance to the taste of saccharin, a slightly bitter taste, but it hasn't been approved in most of the First world.
It is available in health food stores and is recommended that usage be kept very low to avoid problems. -
Use local honey and make sure that none of the nearby fields are sprayed with insecticides or pesticides. Honey is all natural and darn sweet too......
