TULY,
I have 13 Eaton manual; this were light loads 15-20,000 lbs, but i get 7.5-8mpg with 40-44,000 lbs on this route from Ontario to Texas and back ; 7-7.5 mpg on long heavy loads through mountains to BC, Alberta. This is my 2nd Volvo in 10 years, i did many measurements from pump to pump, got aprox same #. From my experience Volvo dash mpg is close to reality; Since i got this truck, 5 friends of mine leased new Volvos with D13 motor, pulling medim/light auto parts loads are getting same fuel economy around 8 mpg. Yes, maybe i got the one, lol![]()

just some reading material...seems eaton did improved their stuff and there some custom programing in this ultra+
JOHNNY u must be mad now that u're over 1 mil on yours...beeing that good of an engine....cause next new one must be more complicated, mostly because by 2014 engine are gonna be more technical still -

I don't think that's coming to Europe, they have 4 airbag system on the rear and now indepedant front,
