At orientation, nervous about being sent home.

Dont listen to all these non swift drivers. They just like to troll the swift boards lol. You should have no problem getting hired. I got hired after being off of work for 15 months. Had got terminated by coca cola and had a hard time getting a local job. So went back to swift. Stayed there 2.5 yrs. There are kther drivers here that have more years. Just keep your driving record clean and make on time deliviries and pick ups. What terminal are you at?

I hate to be the one to break this to you, if you get sent home from Swift the world will not end or quit spinning.

 

Let it go. There's nothing you can do about it now. Get your sleep.

 

If Swift gives you the boot isn't CRE just down the block? Werner? Schneider? There are lots of companies eager to exploit you.

 

Thats not your room mate...thats your driving team mate..it can only get better.

 

You were honest and didnt falsify your application. In my opinion; you should be fine.. try Celadon if you dont get thru.. We need drivers.. lol.. i am a company driver and am very happy.. the company is facinf challenges right now and is trying to figure them out, but.. im still very busy

 

He doesn't have a room mate; he just thinks he does because he hears one talking to him.

 

Which companies did you apply with; is Swift the only one that accepted you? If you're not kicked out of orientation, hang in there and finish it.

 

Stick with Swift then. Do 6 mos or a year, then decide if you want to move on or stick around. Since they no longer use the drivers facing cameras maybe you can do ok there.
