It's funy now that cell service is a commodity that there are several good small companies that are reselling network bandwidth of the big three. StraightTalk is just one and for me the right one because I did not want to buy new phones. But there are others that resell Sprint and Verizon for much less than buying service directly from either company.
AT&T customers, how much are you paying per month for your service?

Thanks GB..... I was looking for options on the contract and you have shown me a good one. I'll get the smart phones unlocked in time for the end of my contract.

With a decent.plan, probably about $75

Their prices are listed pretty clearly. There's no gun put to someone's head forcing them into at&t service.

Your cell doesn't have to be unlocked to use data on straight talk. Change the apn settings (access point name) and your good to as long as the phone came from AT&T. I do agree with the rest of your post. Been a happy ST customer for over 2 years.
