...you at the very least you kept the great truck you did buy for $25,000. Will it at least run a while to make some money? EDIT: I see now the motor let go. Was it that expensive to get one out of a boneyard or a long block from the dealer? I would still talk to some attorney. He can tell you if you are totally screwed or not. Maybe some judge in Civil court would take sympathy.
At the end of my rope

Poor guy. Handed over $25,000.
When a man with money $ meets the man with the experience ... the man with the experience gets the money $ and the man with the money $ gets the experience.
Hope the gentleman learned that it’s better to have $25,000 cash in hand than to not have $25,000 cash in hand. I can’t believe I’m about to say this but , this would have been better as a lease purchase. Ok kind and older wiser gentlemen why don’t we try your deal out for 1 month and we will see how EVERYTHING looks after that and we can then get down to serious contractual business obligations and go from there.
I’m 100% debt free and plenty of bank account. Can’t tell you how it changes your life. Life becomes just fun activities to try out. If it ALL goes wrong ? Perfect time to take the week off , play some golf , walk on the beach , some heavy drinking , girl chasing etc etc and everything looks better a couple days in. America is good , real good.Atlanta trucker, TheLoadOut, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this. -

A Dodge dealership in Nashville tried to pull that on me one time when I was looking at used SUV's.
Liked the SUV and it test drove just fine. The salesman went inside the building while I stood by the car looking it over and thinking what a good deal I was getting. One of their mechanics came to me and asked why I'm messing with the car. Told him I'm buying it. He said, "That's a customers car that we have some work to do on it."
The salesman was flapping his lips trying to fast talk me, so I got in my car and left without saying anything.Last edited: Jul 29, 2020

Can you get your own contract to dump at the landfill?
How many lbs to you have to dump in 1 week?
Is your pickup worth any money?
How is your credit?
Is that broken truck allready gone to scrap?
How creative are you in finding solutions? -
What's wrong with fairy tails ???

Ok, knock it off and let's help this person, not religious gibberish. There is so a G-d, but with stuff like this, you're on your own. I say, get another motor, and move on. They just paid more for startup, happens all the time. Guy I used to rent from, not too money savvy, buys a used Polaris 4x4, nice unit, test ride went fine, he gets it home, runs it until it gets hot , it starts knocking. He paid $2 grand for the 4x4, and another $2grand for a new motor, so he paid $4grand for a $3,000 dollar machine. They have the customers, heck, rent a packer if need be, but get back to it.
