Hello Mate,
Following all keys lost situation, i have just programmed a transponder key on a MERCEDES ATEGO using the dump read from the Memory Device 93c56 fitted in the Engine ECU.As result, the Engine starts pretty well and suddenly the RPM will increase without any action on the accelerator pedal and consequently upon acceleration engine will not run above 1200 RPM.
Please mate with this explained, what can be done to restore acceleration on this truck

1200 rpm - internal fault of ECM, usually bad soldering problems. if processor (SAK167) cant read flash ore eprom memory it goes limp home mode of 1200 rpm
I sugest soldering fail

Mate Thanks a lot for your reply.In fact, with this condition, having tried to diagnose using the STAR DIAGNOSTIC.It would not communicate with the MR.
Another aspect i have not mentioned here is that when this happen and you disconnect the FR socket, Engine will accelerate above 1200 RPM.
Furthermore, i use to read the 93c56 memory storing the Key data in circuit, without Di-soldering it

- Understanding of the function of all electronic components
- Testing Electronic Components
- Components under full load not working
- find the faulty components In-circuit & In-circuit testing
- Common faulty components in Temic PLD
- Communication Errors & faults in Temic
- Cylinder errors & Faults
- How to convert ECU V6 to V8, STEP BY STEP

Really there are some differet vesrions of PLD, early were for 24V, later 12-24
- Understanding of the function of all electronic components
it is too long story

unfortunatly it is not so easy

Morover,regarding your experience with these ECUs is it possible to foreseen the most likely engine symptoms or engine driveability that will be experienced if each of the components you have just mentioned is suspected of being defective?
