ATF says anyone that uses Marijuana can't own guns.

Luckily I live in Nebraska where weed is illegal and firearms are still legal so I don't have to choose .

My senior year of college I lived in a 'small house' - 30 guys living in 10 single and 10 double rooms. The stoners would wake me up at o'dark-thirty because they wanted burgers but were too afraid to use the stove unattended. Meanwhile the boozers were bowling in the hallway - with actual bowling balls. Given a choice between dealing with someone blitzed out of their mind on booze or weed I'm going to choose the pothead every Sunday and twice each other day of the week.

If folks arrested for 'drunk and disorderly' were treated the same as those arrested for having a quarter ounce of marijuana the prison population would double.

Folks here know my political stance (particularly on guns), but the ATF is the most dysfunctional organization I've ever come across. They're not even consistent in their dysfunction. They make FMCSA look like a paragon of targeted, consistent, enforcement.

I find it depressingly funny that police departments in Colorado struggle to obtain pot to train officers on impairment interdiction due to marijuana being a schedule 1 drug even though it's use is legal in the state.
