110 views on this post and nothing. I believe this is a division of Atlas Moving. I would like to think someone knows something about these guys. They make some good promises but don't they all.

$.90/mile+FSC....where's the good promises at? You'd make better money as a company driver.

I know this, Van lines are moving towards a business model of local crews loading trailers and a contractor moving the trailer to another city to be unloaded by another local crew. This is very true during the summer, I would guess they look for freight the rest of the year to keep the contractors moving.

I am leased to a power only company, and I have lost count of the number of bedbug trailers we are offered to move for these guys in the summer. A buddy of mine at another power only company spends his whole summer moving them, even several pure freight lanes with new furniture in the trailers.
It is obvious that Atlas et al have no intention of paying contractors enough to make it. Its their business model, let them move the trailers. -
The van lines are struggling to fill seats like most companies, even more so because it is working for a living and the rates are not keeping up with costs. But, $.90 mile plus FSC sures seems low to me and a lot less than the normal van line driver makes.

Stay away. I worked for Atlas 14 years up until 08. I pulled a reefer and did art, tradeshow, and ltl electronics. Ctd and shuttle were the junk and didn't get many miles. I wouldn't suggest it.

They told me average pay with everything included was 1.47 a mile an all light loads nothing over 25k for weight. It sounded good based on reports here an current drivers saying truckload is not good think I'll stay where I am. I make good money just tired of the poor management.
