I look forward to the day when FMCSA gets their heads out of their rumps and finally start shutting down these unsafe, illegal Chicago Russian companies. Basically these outfits don't care if they get shut down, because the minute the DOT comes after them, they conveniently change the names on the sides of the trucks and keep running.

 

Exactly. I personally think CSA is all bark no bite. Otherwise these outlaw outfits would have been shut down years ago.

I don't think they want to shut these rouge outfits down. Companies like this have "fine" written all over them. Just keep dinging drivers for violations and as long as they pay the fines they're good to go. Us dot probably makes a pretty penny off guys like these. When they stop paying the fines though you know they will start seizing assets and then they'll shut then down. Or, they have a high profile fatality accident and they shut them down, seizing there assets in the process as well. Money is the name of the game, safety is the name only when publicity is involved.
