Loves should have taken better care of the Atoka location (built a better operation from the ground up even it meant a new site) and they wouldn't be dealing with having a Pilot across the street in their backyard. Serves them right. Loves corporation may as well burn that crap hole to the ground and go to the Pilot grand opening party for the free beer.

Good riddance to that Loves. Now, if Oklahoma can completely rebuild that crappy stage road called US-69 from the Red River to Vinita, I might could get back to enjoying that drive again. It get worse, from end to end, every month.

Had to google since I couldn't recall it ... yeah, I've never stopped there. Because, well it looks like a dump. There's a lot of other dumps to choose from along that route.

They are opening that stretch of 69 north of Stringtown. Every little bit helps.

That Loves is a giant pain to get in and out of. I never stop there. The restaurant next door hasn't changed in 30 years. Lol.

Problem with US 69 in Oklahoma is that most of it has been reworked the last 10 years but it always sucks soon after they finish working on it.

Oklahoma keeps paying contractors to do lousy work that won't hold up past a few years following completion

Yeah, the loves is a dump and the lot is a joke. One of the worst but there are many dumpy loves in OK and TX.

Edit: heard the pilot gas PJ Fresh, Moe's, and Cinnabun. Salt and sugar.

`And when they bypass all those two-bit towns, they need to make them controlled-access, so the bypass doesn't turn into an extension of town (I'm glaring at you, McAlester and Durant)

    Right?

One town that needs a bypass is Anson, TX. US277 is a #### near interstate from Holliday, TX to Abilene where (except for the temporary road construction reduction) the speed limit is 75....except for that slow down and traffic circle in Anson.
