I just completed Katlaw training and found the instructors to be top-notch however we do share the same story.......over all it was a great experience however we did not get enough time in the truck for feel comfortable. I tested at the DDS and failed the alley dock (pointed out) (no one to blame but myself) so I'll try it again hopefully soon.
Good luck on your exam.....it is a bitter pill to swallow but you'll get it (if you havent already done so by now)

In Ga. you can retest the next day after you fail, if you fail again you have to wait 1 week. I tested in Jackson in 2009. I was with another driving school. the test wasn't bad, and had a very forgiving tester. I had a friend do a refresher course in 2002 with Katlaw, he had 35 years exp. ,but still had to take a week long course.

I was attending the school also, and I did great in the classroom, passed my permit test first time... duh. But I got out on the yard and I was in shock with the disrepair of the trucks. I can not even reach the pedals properly because the seats don't move like they should. The instructor told me that I should bring my own pillows to put in that nasty seat where 20 men a week are putting there behinds. I can not do that. I think that since I am paying $3200 out of my pocket to the school, the trucks should be all working! And, I know how a should work...my husbands a Truck driver, been one for 5 years

Yea. I thought I had it bad in 102 but it turns out the other team in the newer truck had their truck break down a day before testing. Had to test in ours. Only 1 person passed because of it. So I guess in the end I was blessed yo get that hunk of junk. But yes I do wish they would spend a little to get the trucks in better order. Especially since signing on CR England they should be bringing in enough to expand the yard, which I saw they already started, and do some maintenence on the trucks. But I know the expansion part is expensive so I can imagine they are pushing off the Truck maintenance until that is all said and done
