Simple explanation of the trucking industry explained in this video
CerealKiller, DoubleO7, Flat Earth Trucker and 4 others Thank this. -
Nope. The First Amendment only addresses the government's ability to limit free speech, it has absolutely nothing to do with what companies or individuals can do.alds, Blue Zombie Trucker, SoulScream84 and 3 others Thank this.

My daughter is an attorney and confirmed ORD's statement. The government cannot limit free speech but FB, Google, or any employer has near limitless scope to do just that including disciplinary actions for vaguely defined policy violations.
You ain't in Kansas anymore.Odin's Rabid Dog Thanks this. -
I think most companies would aggressively monitor websites and such for negative comments. The profit margin is very low and the need for experienced drivers is very aggressive. If you didn't know, trucking is low profit margin business. You probably know that. I know my company pointed out posts by employees during orientation to use to remind us how people who leave tend to come back, too. I dont think my company approaches drivers posts with hostile intent. That's the message I took away from orientation. Not just that people leave and come back but that they CAN return. I'm a fair judge. I point out interesting things. Not just the low quality points. If it's embarrassing, they shouldn't do that. It's not my fault they did it.Trucking in Tennessee Thanks this.

Indeed, the defense is almost bulletproof on everything. If you look through all the papers you signed when you start working just about anywhere you’ll find you relinquished several of your rights, don’t sign it you don’t work there violate it you get fired. If you really piss them off they can come back on you for defamation if they really wanted to.

CRE don't go here. Alright so where to start. The school is 10 days then with a trainer then team/solo. Take home a little over 400 a week on trainers truck. Team 5000 miles 600 a week solo 1500 mile 350 a week. They brag they are one of the top paying companies NO NO they are the lowest paying company @ a little over 0.30 a mile solo top after 300 months a little over 0.40 a mile thats solo. Team after a year is around 0.50 a mile. I/C a little over 0.90 a mile. The BS u have to deal with getting through a year here is the roughest and hardest thing to do. Out of a class of 70 there is 2 people left. Everyone has left to greener pastures. Most don't last 6 months. To help u out the trucks are new... with that being said no apu no inventer no fridge no mattress. If u have ever been to county jail their mats are more comfortable. do your research!!!!
