Check out the Schneider forum to start. Lots of fans of their owner operator program over there. I've met drivers from almost every mega company except Prime and Cr England (reefer?) tell me that you can make around $2000 a week on your check.I'm a company driver just looking into opportunities. These are my observations. And of course you would have to run your own show to make $2000 a week.
Oh yeah $2000 a week ain't a lot when shippers are paying $2/mi present day. Do all of the math! -
Oh I'm not doubting the authenticity of the story...doubting the excuse used to explain the irrational behavior of a lunatic "cough drops" Lmao

Those aren't company drivers at Schneider making that... I doubt to many are bringing home 2k weekly, very much so.Steel Dragon and TruckDuo Thank this.

Lol yeah I'm talking about the Schneider choice board for o/o. A few on there are trying to figure it out but they do have success stories. I'm a very skeptical person but even I think that $1800 to $2000 a week is possible at a big company like Schneider if you watch your fuel and they definitely have a solid freight base. Is $2000 a wk. running everyday no home time top pay as an l/o o/o? I don't think so!

I was asked the other day. If someone who has never had a CDL and has never worked in the transportation industry could have a DAC report? Now my first response was NO but after thinking about it I changed my answer to I am not sure. I have looked at the FMCSA/ DOT website and also researched Hire Right/ DAC but the only thing I found all pertained to actual drivers holding CDL's.. I dug a little deeper and did find out that she had been approved to attend a mega carriers company cdl school ( so she obviously submitted an application) and had date set to go but changed her mind and emailed the company to inform them she would not be attending... I still do not know what the answer would be to that scenario.. Thanks
