True but we arent talking about which job is more nessesary. Just about amount of work for money. Fast food to make the same as a driver has 70+ hours on their feet unless you find a mythical fast food joint giving out overtime hours consistantly. In pure physical effort dollar for dollar fast food is harder. You do have a point that responsibility we have it worse. And id even agree and argue mental stress adds up more too. Though i also imagine haveing some fast ####### wanting his 19 large bigmacs made exactly right and being a karen about it. Then acting like he is superiour to me dispite being a 600 pound blob of flesh with as much usefullness as that implies.....well id likely lose my #### after too long of that.

That all said that STILL doesnt detract from my main point. Namely that just because the median income I.E right in the middle is "fast food wages" which again, its not if you look at ANYTHING more then just raw hours worked. Doesnt mean every job is crap. Half of them using his own median are again BETTER then said median. So finding one is not some mythical niche unicorn job. It just takes sone effort and experince.

Does that mean i dont agree a lot of drivers couldnt stand to be paid better. No absolutely not. Drivers get screwed on a regular basis. But im also not going to let someone stand there and preach ######## and call it divine wisdom either.

I just wanted to say fast food was my first real job that I stayed with any amount of time. I had tried a car wash too tough. So I went to a fast food , in the days before they had any new innovations to make the job easier. It was not a hard job. Not mentally or physically. The worst may have been cleaning everything, however that was because cleanliness in food has to be done thoroughly with the proper tools. It was a busy place and we were robbed at gun point sometimes. A gang close by would just order like 5 bags of food regularly and then just run. It was a great working and life experience I must say. It prepared me for a whole lot of situations to come. But , hard work? No , it was never anything I would consider hard, and work to me is not what I do for enjoyment like so many people do.
I do have a business that I have never considered work , because it was mine , and before it was successful , it was like a living thing that I had to keep alive, and after it was safe and healthy I then kept it and went on to other things , that I have to say if I was doing it for someone else yes it would have been hard work. But I was doing it for myself and family, and in my own time and rules.
