I got a diatribe one day while in TN about the Celtic Cross tat on my right forearm. I was at a small dump of a T/S on I 40, I almost think it was the 49er. I was informed that unless I was "saved" by this so called "Christian", that there was no doubt I'd roast in Hell for all eternity. I was even accused of wearing the "Mark of the Beast"! All this time while choking down the slop I was eating, the theme from the "Twilight Zone" kept echoing in my brainpan. I swore upon the heathen cross on my arm, that I'd NEVER stop there again!!![]()

A couple years in the military would open your eyes to culture as well. I wouldn't say its cuz hes 29, from my experience its just a big city thing. They never mix. In bootcamp it was everyday a war between New Yorkers and Texas. Why? cuz those two types have to be the most arrogant, so they clashed baaad. Arrogance isn't bad, hell I'm a little arrogant. But I can tell you most New Yorkers definately have this pride thing that can get them into trouble. Where I live, we have to deal with Chicago punks coming down here on U of I and EIU campus thinking they are better than rest of us. Then of course they are physically advised to return to Chicago. Its just the clash of cultures, nothin you can do about it, but tolerate.

Culture Clash, Now that I think of it, it makes sense. Simple explanation.
jakebrake12 Thanks this. -
i love driviing in the south---people for the most part are great--
i love driving in the ne---people are usually very nice there as well--more so if you away from boston--but they arnt all that bad either
i like driving in the midwest--ok people there as well---
honestely i cant say any of the people i have ever met are all that bad---sure maybe one here or there--but very seldom--hell even quebec isnt that bad
people are people---if you treat people how you want to be treated --it always works out---i never let anybody walk on me---never---but i am also not sitting there ######## and moaning about how long it takes to get unloaded--sure i try to get them going a bit quicker but i am not a prick about it
---takes a lot less muscles to smile than it takes to frown----maybe i am just lazy -
Canuck, you're 100% right! If you think about it that is. I could be a little on the self conscious side because of some of the ill treatment I've received in some places, but that can happen anywhere. Crap, some of the funniest things that have happened to me were "down yonder". I just can't stand the HEAT down there. It gets much over 80, and I'm done!!
