Tried them a while back KH they were another one that didn't return multiple voicemails....later heard thru the grapevine they send you out with a trainer regardless of your experience and that don't fly, Big Mike rides alone !!The Challenger Thanks this.

Superior would do that as well. I wouldn't let that hold you back. None of those trucks are double bunked so chances are your time with a trainer would be local, out and back regional or OTR staying in hotels. Without tanker experience they need to make sure you don't have box truck habits that won't work well with liquids.groundpounder Thanks this.

understood.....Superior told me no before when I was looking but I'll try them again to see if anything has changed as far as hiring area goes..
-
That couldn't hurt if you can't find anything else. This is the slow season. Come spring the bosses will be complaining about all the loads they have to turn down.groundpounder Thanks this.

groundpounder,
Over here on the west coast, the QC drivers that load where i do are paid around $20.00 per hour. No OT though. Most seem pretty happy. And they are pretty much local. If they go on an overnight run, in a day cab, their motel is paid.
I would stay away from mileage pay for any kind of driving. Too many variables to cheat you out of money. No offense to anyone but I expect to be paid for all of my on duty time.
Good luck.
Drive safedrivenaway and groundpounder Thank this. -
North American is no more. They merged back with Indian river. Same pay anyway.
groundpounder Thanks this.
