I listened to a few of Steven King 'Dark Tower' series with him doing the reading. Amazing.....
That was while driving a 4 wheeler across the country..... I didn't even want to stop for a bathroom break because I didn't want to pause the tape.....tape...lol...just dated myself....
I will try when I'm out but it may be a little too engrossing as a new driver......

Time and place for most things. Love listening to books while driving in open country or light traffic.. Been an avid reader all my life. I hated the idea of audio books and E-readers, but now that I'm older the small print is harder to see.
I have an Mp3 player velcroed to the dash with some books, but my laptop in a stand with an aux cord runs most of them. -

No....because it is 2013. XM Radio has that and more.

Yeah, but you can't choose what book you want to listen to on XM.

I find that everything seems to be repeated in a cycle on it. Had mine since 2003 and beginning to wonder if worth renewing in February. Cannot remember the last time it was on.

I also carried a Kindle for actual reading of books.
