I'm an experienced driver in Houston looking to come back out on the road. I would prefer to get with a company that runs automatics. I got a chance to drive them with Tango and can't see going back to manuals. So here's the scenario: I've been out of a truck since December 09', i have 4 1/2 years otr exp, would like to stay regional but open to otr, would like consistent home time. Well that's about it. My research has me looking at P.A.M., P.T.L., USX, and Arnold. Anybody have any good advice on direction? Thanks.:biggrin_25521:

Hey, I test drove a volvo with 10 speed auto. Very impressive and strange experience. Like a ghost was shifting.Bobtale only. I wonder how they do with 40,000 in the box. I would also like to stay auto. why shift if you do not have to. Its a man thing I believe.:biggrin_2558:So to get rehired theres that small detail (12 months varifiable recient experience) to overcome. Or attend the school. That leaves no option but to attend the school for me. Which puts automatic tranny a non priority. Because the schools or 1 year contracts can be a nightmare. If you quit you risk a bad dac entry.:biggrin_25513:
