300 hundred, how about 75 bucks at the most. Its just a fancied up piece of plastic.
If I had made the mistake of buying a Ford ( thankfully I gave ford junk up long ago) and had to pay that for a taillight I would be buying some bondo and a set of taillights for a trailer and making them work! Might be out a hole 50 bucks and 75 if I take my time to make it look good and paint around it.

And it isn’t the first time they’ve pulled this stunt. If you have to offer a $10,000 rebate on any vehicles and they still aren’t selling then the vehicles are obviously overpriced-by a wide margin!

It depends on how old the ford is, my 06 F150 is over 300k and tail lights are still intact.

And you have to have the stealership mechanic program the computer in the new tail light with the proper software for your vehicle so it will work on your vehicle .

    a complete load of BS

no way will I ever own some garbage like that .

You know how that little plastic box on the bumper of new trucks that costs $10,000? These tail lights have one of those in each for blind spot monitoring. It's not just a tail light. I'm not saying it should be that expensive because the tech isn't that complex but it certainly not just a plastic housing with a lamp in it.

Trucks and everything else are crazy. I bought my 22 RAM1500 at the end of 21 and that was 50k. I actually got lightheaded as I singed the paperwork. Only saving grace is that it's what I want, 4x4, hemi, all black. Nice truck, but it cost more than my first house!

Inflation is a hell of a thing. Just wait till you see the price of houses now. Everybody complains about the cost of new vehicles but people are still paying it or else they would have to reduce prices. Supply and demand is a fickle mistress.
