Lately some of the stuff I’ve been getting from Automann have actually been other name brand parts at Automann price. Automann buys NOS from manufacturers in lots along with their stuff. So you never know what you may get sent to you.

No I have not. The kits you’re referring to have the special bushing driver to install.

I was referring to the spiral twist ins.

As previously stated, everyone loves them due to their ease of installation. But generally they are twice as expensive as OE.

I never had great luck with those yellow nylon deals. Possibly people buggered them up on installation and or poor maintenance.
Prefer solid brass like the factory and yes the Kysor's require a special tool. Parts company here used to loan the tool with purchase but stopped that. Now we have to by the tool. That is a little hard to justify for a one time deal. I use an adjustable hand reamer in them but they will not do both bushings at the same time like the machine shop. Then when the pin is fitted, in the spindle only, it can get tight sometimes. Look at the marks and run a flapper wheel a bit. That is as close as I can get to factory.
As kids we had to get our own cars, insurance and such. I was riding with my brother " Mr Smart ### " in my dads new car and he needed a tire for his car. He stopped by this tire place and asked about a used tire. They told him we do not have any used tires but we sell recap tires. I looked inside and they had all kinds of molds from small up to at least semi truck tires. Suprising for a little town of 800 people. They are just as good as new tires. Well if they are just as good as new tires why do they not put them on new cars and pointed at dads car. Man had no answer. As I thank about now the tires on that car were recalled. Firestones and what were the jokes? Firestone 500's? Good for 500 miles or were they the 721's? 7 to 1 they fail. Recaps may have been better?
Did not start out to beat on Firestone, those 591's are some #### good tires.
Just saying I do not like those yellow deals myself. Never put an adjustable reamer in one. Any tips on installing them?
