Truck is autoshift. Whenever i and putting truck in drive it is not moving. Only RPM is increasing not the speed gauge.

Clutch is burnt out most likely. Only a mechanic can diagnose it by inspecting it.

The future of truck drivers, right here, folks. You wonder why I'm disgruntled? I mean, can you imagine the stress the boss is going through? "How come you missed you're appointment"? "Uhhh, the truck won't move",,:dontknow:
I'm sorry, I know I'm burning out on TTR with a good chance of getting the heave ho, my knowledge is dated, my experience is worthless, and I understand this is a "helping site", but this is, to me, unacceptable.( Speed gauge ?) Before this kind of stuff became the norm, we would laugh someone right out of the business asking a question like this. If you can't figure it out, get lost, we can't use you. You need to be able to think for yourself in this job. Bosses would specifically hire people that knew about this stuff. I know, with the lack of qualified drivers , can't do that today, and perhaps someone will have the patience to answer this persons question, but the most unsettling part is, trucking has become so simple, this is who will operating tomorrows trucks. Aside from the lack of knowledge as to what's causing the problem, they don't have a clue who to turn to, and that's the scary part. And the public wonders why there's no TP on the shelves,,,

I agree! This is part of the reason why I think this forum needs to have a 10 post minimum for "new members." Absolutely no pertinent information that is even remotely helpful was provided by the OP. Not even sure what type of truck it is!...other than it being posted in the Freightliner section. How does someone like the OP expect anyone to help assist them?

Posts like these need to be flagged.

I 100% agree with you and Rocketman.. some of it is just pure laziness.. some of it it just pure stupidty...
JMO... but what we are witnessing here is the off spring from the kidds that were putting Pop Rocks in their soda back in the late 80's... that was Darwin's Theory at its finest because that trick killed the extra stupid ones... they finally had to stop selling Pop Rocks because kids were to stupid to listen to the warnings.. this Rocket Scientist is the result of the kids that did that stupid stunt
