Aux audio?

Just got a new to me 2008 VNL 740 it has a aux audio jack that looks like a phone jack. Any ideas if this will let me use my iPod thru the factory stereo, anybody use there's?

I understand how an "aux" cable /plug works but this one looks like a phone jack not a 3.5mm plug.

I called Volvo and they can get you one, I just replaced the stereo with one that has a USB plug and an AUX jack.
