Aux Inputs for XM Radio

    Bought a xm radio for when i graduate from trucking school. do most trucks on the road these days have aux inputs in them?

    yes and if im not mistaken the newer ones have the sat built into the radio

    Probably a good idea is not to purchase anything until you are with a company. Plenty of time to do that between being with a trainer and getting your truck. Most trainers don't want a bunch of stuff plugged into their trucks and space will be limited. See what your truck has first then build on that.

    saw a neat little rig that plugs between the antenna and the radio, has an aux. plug on it, would be worth installing if you are gonna be in the same truck for a bit, should be able to get it at any stereo shop about $20
