No, not even close. A fry cook makes about $8.00 Per hour. If they work 40 hours a week, which most do not, they would make $16,640 a year. Most are part time, do not get paid holidays or vacation so make more like $10,000 a year.

I don't see how grossing 800 a week is top dollar. If I wanted that, I could get back on with the state or county here. If I don't gross 1200 a week, I feel I had a bad week. And I could be home every weekend, if I really wanted to.
I think the industry has beaten down drivers to where they think marginal pay is decent pay. Really too bad. I've talked to numerous drivers who say they are lucky to gross 500 a week. Just amazes me......superflow Thanks this. -

I am local, class b. Home every night, off weekends, in my first year. I work 45 to 50 Hours a week and avarage 900 a week gross and I am happy with that.

My regular job now I gross 550 a week. If I can't beat that then I'm getting a refund for cdl school

They said things are slow but average pay should be 850 to 1850 gross a week but not sure how i would make 1850 if i work 5 days a week and only gross 850 but guess i will find out so far they seem pretty straight with me.
