Looks like I will be flying out this Sunday for Tennessee to start orientation Monday. Looking forward to it.

How Long did it take for your application to be processed? I applied for a job out of Mid Tennessee yesterday online. I think I'm gonna call a recruiter today and see. I figure a week or so if I meet all of the requirements. I've read through a lot of the posts but some of them are outdated. Is dedicated the best place to be? Lots of Nissan stuff, that's what I'm looking for. Any advice is appreciated. Good luck at orientation. Paid? 4 days right? Thanks

It took two weeks for mine to process. You have the interview, the background check etc. that have to be done. Every body else seems to get you to orientation and then they run all your background checks, etc. If you survive through orientation without being sent home for something, that's when they offer you a job. With Averitt, they interview you via webcam, then run all your background and reference checks, then, depending on those outcomes, you are either offered a position or not. From what I understand orientation is paid and is 4 days.

That is one thing about Averitt I appreciated very much. They kick the tires very carefully before they decide to buy. It was almost three weeks before I heard back from my recruiter when I applied. Other companies had called me the same day I applied and were talking to me about refresher courses and nailing down an orientation date, etc. When you go to orientation at Averitt, you are in as long as you pass the driving test.

Hotel is nice. Meals are paid for except for your dinner and orientation is paid for. The meals they provide are very good. I am a fat guy. I know my food. Trust me on this one.
