How many miles were you guys getting on average as a regional driver?
also if any of you were city drivers how many stops were you doing a day? I heard something crazy like 20+ stops. Not sure how you can do that many a day while trip planning for every stop. Seems stressful.

I was a regional driver (truckload) about 10 or 11 years ago and I averaged 2500 to 2700 miles a week. A lot has changed since then, they have totally revamped the pay scale and pay a lot more for the extras as in short haul pay, multiple stop pay, ltl night runs, etc.
As a city driver, how many stops you do depends on the route. Some routes may have 20 stops but you may only drive about 50 miles doing those stops. You might have a route that only has 7 stops but you may drive 150 miles. As far as trip planning, you get to know your area and stops quickly or ask the veteran drivers for tips.Texas_hwy_287, Another Canadian driver and brtecson Thank this. -
I ran city with averitt the most stops you get is about 10 to 12 stops and 4 pick ups along with a swap.

Anyone have details on the Orlando FL terminal I'm looking into city work. About whays the average hours they work a week? Does averitt have driver facing cameras?
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I do not know what the Orlando drivers average a week, but I can tell you that Averitt does not have driver facing cameras.
tscottme and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
Any averitt drivers have any reviews on the P&D side or those pod accounts

Former averitt p&d here, most stops you will get its 10 to 14 depending on the area couple pick ups and maybe a swap. (Depending how big is the svc)
Dispatch doesn't bother you unless you call them.
Overall is a good outfit to work for.
@tscottme used to work there as well, he might chime info that I maybe missed.
Good luck.
