This company told me more lies about how they pay you, than you could possibly believe. The only truth is that they pay .34 a mile and you will average about 250 miles per day, period. It's a little rough to live off of $85.00 a day working 14 hours. Ok, here is what I was told,
    1. approx. 2200 miles per week at .34 per mile
    2. $15.00 per hour for wait time over the standard 2 hours
    3. $15.00 per hour for unavoidable traffic delays
    4. $15.00 per hour for local work
    5. $45.00 per night per diem

You will recieve absolutely nothing except for your mileage pay. The per diem is done as a tax break, it is not actual, physical money. When I tryed to bill them for wait time they told me they could not bill that customer, risking losing their business, hence you don't get paid etc. This company's terminal is in Brunswick, OH and constantly recruits. I wonder why!

I worked there a few years ago, until one day he told me I had to deliver in upstate Mi. at 7 a.m. reload without an appt. in the lower part of Mi. and deliver the load to Akron, Oh. to be live unloaded at midnight. Itold him it could not be done legally, his response was " you know what to do and how to do it ". So I did, I returned the loaded trailer to Brunswick, cleaned my stuff out of the tractor and went home. If you apply anywhere in the northeast Ohio area, you'll find out that he is not well liked or respected by his peers.

Avoid SST. All other replys are 100 percent accurate. Owner will encourage you to break the law. Very dishonest and irreparable. Trucks break down every week. Sometimes 3x a week. Will cost you money, time, energy and stress. Also blame you for everything especially things that are their fault. Stay away from this company at all costs.
