    No. When I slide my visor to the right to latch to the inner position, the visor comes down right along side the gps so the gps effectively helps widen my visor. I can see all of the gps when the visor is down.

    I have a 740 and the unit is duct taped to the mount and I have a power cord run to the USB port on the side.

    The magnet is crap, it was flying off several times a day before I taped it on.
